KEF Ci3-80QT In-Ceiling Motorised Speaker is designed to lie flush with the ceiling when not in use - making them ideal for home theatre, especially in combination with motorised screens as part of a fully automated system.
In the commercial environment, they are highly suitable for a discreet solution in boardrooms. When required, the purr into position at the touch of a remote, to deliver a sweeping soundstage with rock-solid imaging.
Architectural Specifications
The Ci3-80QT comprises a Uni-Q® array with a coincident mounted, twin neodymium magnet, 15 mm (3⁄5 in.) aluminium dome, high-frequency unit, a 75 mm polypropylene mid-range unit and two 75 mm bass drivers. Performance should meet or exceed the following criteria:
Frequency response 1-metre on-axis with swept sine-wave shall be 87 Hz to 27 kHz, sensitivity shall be at least 87 dB for 2.83 V@ 1m. The impedance and maximum power shall be 100 W at 8 ohms.
